General Secretary Bazm-e-Roooh Rihan Wahid Kaandhro informed here on Saturday that literary event to be held in the office of Anjuman-e- Taajiran Sindh, Qasimabad on Sunday.

The foremost poet of Sindh, Imdad Hussaini, whose original name was Syed Imdad Ali Shah, son of Syed Fazal Muhammad Shah.

He was born on March 10, 1940 in Takkar. He received his Primary education in the village school. Matric Noor Mohammad High School Hyderabad and Intermediate Sachal Sarmast College Hyderabad, B.

A. (Hons) and M.A (Sindhi), admitted to Sindh University.

During the student life, he worked (part-time) in the Sindhi dictionary Office and Sindhi Folk Literature Project, then he was appointed as a librarian in the Sindhi Literary board.

In 1970, he was appointed as a research fellow in the Institute of Sindhology.

In 1973, he was appointed as subject specialist (Sindhi) in the Sindh Textbook Board. From 1977 to 1979, he was appointed as the editor of the quarterly "Mehran". The greatest poet of Sindhi language, died on 27 August 2022 in Karachi. His literary services will always be remembered.
