ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2026) Capital Emergency Service CDA on Thursday responded swiftly to two separate fire incidents in Islamabad and successfully brought both blazes under control.

According to CDA, the first fire broke out at a tyre shop in Al-Makka Plaza near Tarnol Phatak, Tarnol Market. The emergency service received the call at 4:34 p.m. and dispatched fire and rescue teams from G-10, FHQ and JCC along with a rescue van.

The firefighting teams reached the site and extinguished the fire. They also carried out safety checks to ensure that there was no further threat to lives or property.

Later at around 6:40 p.m., another fire was reported at Ameen Plaza, Mars BPO Building, Khana Pull.

Emergency crews reached the site within two minutes and immediately launched firefighting and rescue operations.

The operation involved fire and rescue teams from Khana Tehsil, G-5 and FHQ, a rescue van and a Bronto Skylift. A total of 25 fire, rescue and medical personnel took part in the operation.

The fire was brought under control through coordinated firefighting efforts.

According to the initial assessment, no injuries, casualties, missing persons or fatalities were reported in the incident, and no one required evacuation from the site.

Capital Emergency Service CDA said its personnel remained committed to providing a rapid and professional response to emergencies and protecting precious human lives and public and private property.
