SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2026) District Sports Officer Saima Manzoor has said that the Chief Minister Punjab Youth Games 2026 are providing ample opportunities to young athletes to showcase their sporting talent.

Talking to APP on Friday, she said competitions in 19 popular sports would be organized under the Youth Games, with eligible male and female students from various educational institutions allowed to participate.

She said cash prizes worth Rs500 million had been allocated for the Youth Games.

Eligible students from public and private middle and high schools, colleges, universities, religious seminaries, labour schools, special schools and colleges, TEVTA and non-formal schools across Punjab could register for the competitions.

Saima Manzoor said the Youth Games were an important initiative for promotion of sports and engaging young people in healthy and positive activities.

She urged young athletes to complete their online registration by the deadline of September 25, 2026, and participate enthusiastically in the competitions.

The District Sports Officer said the registration link was available on the CM Punjab Games website, while QR codes had also been provided to all educational institutions to facilitate registration.
