During the visits, he also met detainees to inquire about their conditions and checked cleanliness and security arrangements at the lock-ups.

The DPO examined registers, daily diaries and other official documents and directed police officials to ensure proper maintenance of records in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations. Taking notice of negligence and unsatisfactory performance, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal ordered the immediate line closure of the SHO of Lachi Police Station and the station clerk.
