DG KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Sep, 2026) The two-day “Ghazi Dates and Olive Festival” would be held on September 10 and 11 at the City Campus Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan.

The festival was being organized under the directions of Ghazi University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad Chattha. People from various fields and distinguished guests have been invited to participate in the event.

The programme will include a welcome address, keynote speech and addresses by the Vice Chancellor and the chief guest. Various stalls will also be inaugurated, followed by a panel discussion. A dinner and cultural night will be held in the evening.

On September 11, participants will visit Qasim Bagh. In the evening, they will tour the university’s new campus, where a date palm plantation activity will also be held.
