Rafique, on Monday paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its bravery,

sacrifices and services to the nation.

In his message on Air Force Day, he said that Pakistan Air Force created an

immortal history of courage and valor during the 1965 war. He said the enemy's

attempt to attack Pakistan under the cover of darkness was foiled by the brave

pilots of the PAF, who defended the motherland without caring for their lives.

He recalled the historic achievement of Squadron Leader Muhammad Mahmood

Alam (MM Alam), who shot down five Indian aircraft and created a remarkable

chapter in the history of Pakistan Air Force.
