HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Aug, 2026) The Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro here on Saturday inaugurated 10 development schemes while laying foundation stone for another 11 new projects.Talking to the media at the Mayor's office later Shoro said Rs39.251 billion were being spent on the development projects in Hyderabad including roads, water supply, drainage and other infrastructure schemes."The development in Hyderabad isn't limited to any specific area; rather the schemes were being executed in all parts of the city simultaneously," he said.

He added that the widening and beautification of Autobahn road and the construction of the city's rind road were aimed at easing the flow of traffic.He confirmed that the city's maiden underpass road was going to be built at Qasim Chowk.According to him, infrastructure of graveyards was also being improved while roads around the city's largest graveyard in Tando Yousu were also being rebuilt.Shoro expressed hope that construction of roads on either sides of the Pinyari canal, linking Hyderabad SITE area with Hyderabad Bypass road, would provide an express route to the traffic.
