campaign against adulterated, substandard and unsafe food items on the directions

of Deputy District Officer Sadia Rafat.

According to an official source, PFA teams issued 22 improvement notices and imposed fines amounting to Rs126,000 on seven food businesses for violating food safety and hygiene standards.

The teams also discarded 20 kg of expired cold drinks and other substandard food items during

the inspections.
