ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Aug, 2026) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of King Harald V of Norway.

"On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Norway", the prime minister said in a post on his official X handle.

He said as Norway mourned this profound loss, the people of Pakistan stood in solidarity with the bereaved family and our Norwegian friends.
