LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Aug, 2026) Punjab Police have arrested more than 116,000 proclaimed offenders (POs), over 35,500 court absconders and 12,800 habitual criminals across the province during the current year as part of its ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in heinous crimes.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the arrested proclaimed offenders included around 29,000 A-category and more than 87,000 B-category offenders.
