ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Sep, 2026) The Supreme Court has granted final relief to Zaitoon Bibi of Dera Ismail Khan in an inheritance property dispute after and directed implementation of its 2022 judgment.

A three-member bench comprising Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Malik Shahzad and Justice Salahuddin Panhwar announced the judgment, authored by Justice Salahuddin Panhwar.

The apex court also rejected the opposing party’s application seeking review of the order.

The court expressed serious concern over non-compliance with judicial orders, observing that the judicial system rests on confidence, discipline and respect for the sanctity of court orders and that compliance with judicial directions was mandatory in all circumstances.
