MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2026) A passing-out parade of the Riot Management Police Course was held at the Police Training College Multan, where 338 police officers and personnel successfully completed their training.

The course provided specialized riot management training to police personnel from the rank of constable to sub-inspector, equipping them with skills to effectively deal with demonstrations, disturbances and violent attacks.

Commandant and DIG Sadiq Ali Dogar, who was the chief guest at the passing-out parade,

said Riot Management Police served as a frontline force in situations involving protests, unrest and

violent attacks.

He highlighted the important role of Riot Management Police in protecting public property.

He stressed that professional training of the force was essential for effective policing.

DIG Sadiq Ali Dogar said maintaining peace in the country was a collective religious,

social and moral responsibility.

He added that officers and personnel had received practical training during the course, which

would enhance their professional capabilities and enable them to serve the country and the people more effectively.

Prizes were also distributed among the personnel who secured prominent positions in the course.
