FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2026) Allied Hospital-II (DHQ Hospital) has received three water plants and six water chillers as a welfare contribution from the Anjuman Insdad-e-Manshiyat with the support of philanthropists to providing patients and their attendants with improved access to clean and safe drinking water at different sections of the hospital.
Prof Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar accompanied by Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Imran, Director Social Welfare Madam Khalida Rafiq, General Secretary Anjuman Insdad-e-Manshiyat Madam Amina Akram, DMS Dr. Zulqarnain, Dr. Ali Raza, Muhammad Afzal Jalandhari and other officials formally inaugurated the newly installed water plants.
Hospital spokesman said that the water plants have been installed at Fatima Ward, the waiting area and Ali Ward, enabling patients, attendants and visitors to obtain clean drinking water conveniently while receiving or accompanying patients at the hospital.
He said that six water chillers have also been installed at different locations within the hospital to further improve the availability of drinking water particularly for patients and their families who spend extended periods at the healthcare facility.
Speaking on the occasion, the hospital spokesman appreciated the Anjuman Insdad-e-Manshiyat and philanthropists for extending support for the welfare of patients and their attendants.
Such public-spirited initiatives played an important role in supplementing healthcare facilities and improving the overall environment for patients, he added.
He also acknowledged the contribution of the association and donors, expressing hope that similar welfare initiatives would continue in the future to facilitate patients and their attendants.
