SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2026) An important and high-level organizational meeting of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Sukkur Division was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Leader and Monitoring Organizer of Sukkur Division, Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah. The meeting was held at the PML-F office at Golimar Sukkur.

The meeting was also addressed by Comrade Nisar Abro and Engineer Abdul Karim Shar.

A large number of district and taluka presidents, general secretaries and office-bearers from all three districts of Sukkur Division - Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki - participated in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah said that Pakistan Muslim League Functional is the party of Shaheed Pir Pagara and is the true representative party of the poor, oppressed and subjugated people of Sindh. Under the leadership of Pir Sahib Pagara and Provincial President Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi, the Functional League is rapidly organizing across Sindh and Sukkur Division holds a special position in this regard.

He said that in the current situation of the country, the people are very worried due to inflation, lawlessness and unemployment, and the ruling party has completely failed to provide relief to the people. In such a situation, the Functional League is the only party that can pull the people out of this difficulty.

In the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on organizational matters, organization of units and making the party more organized and active.

It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the process of organization building in all districts and talukas of Sukkur Division will be completed as soon as possible and complete lists of organizational office-bearers in writing will be submitted to the provincial leadership by September 15. All district office-bearers should accelerate their organizational visits in their respective districts and talukas and make the organization active up to the Union Council level. The membership campaign will be accelerated in every taluka and new workers will be included in the party. Soon, workers conventions will be held in all districts of Sukkur Division in which the central leadership will participate.

In some time, a large public gathering (Jalsa-e-Aam) will be organized at the divisional level across Sindh.

In the end, special prayers were offered for the security of the country, the success of the party and the long life of Pir Pagara.
