HAZRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2026) Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that the issuance of new passports at the Passport Sub-Office in Hazro city will resume after 15 days.

He said that a large number of people from the Chhachh region travel abroad for employment and would be able to avail themselves of passport services at the Hazro office.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders from Attock district, including Sardar Ashar Hayat Khan, Naseer Khan Jadoon and Haji Ahsan.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that a passport desk had been established at the NADRA office in Hazro city to facilitate the people of Tehsil Hazro. The office had been providing services for the issuance of new passports as well as the renewal of existing passports.

He said that the process of issuing new passports at the Hazro office would resume soon.

The governor said that efforts were being made to provide all possible facilities to the people at their doorstep. He added that, as Governor of Punjab, he was committed to providing every possible relief to the people of Attock district.
