KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2026) Sindh College education Secretary Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon chaired a review meeting on development schemes underway at 13 cadet colleges across the province, where progress on ongoing projects, release of funds, completion of schemes and the way forward were discussed in detail.

Special Secretary Asif Jan Siddiqui, Chief Engineer Muhammad Saleem Sheikh, Director Planning Sajjad Ali Abro, Deputy Director Development Saeed Ahmed Abro and other relevant officials attended the meeting, while principals, project directors and representatives of Cadet College Steel Mills Karachi, Cadet College Petaro, Gadap, Sanghar, Bakhtawar Cadet College Shaheed Benazirabad, Pano Aqil, Khairpur Mirs, Jacobabad, Mithi, Badin, Larkana and Cadet College Kurram briefed the meeting on the progress of development projects at their respective institutions.

Secretary Nadeem Memon directed the officials to immediately approach the Finance Department to ensure the release of the required funds for schemes where insufficient allocations had been made.

The secretary further ordered that Completion PC-IVs for completed development schemes be prepared and submitted to the Planning and Development Department without delay.

The meeting also reviewed the appointment of principals for Cadet College Badin and Cadet College Mithi/Tharparkar, being constructed through College Education Works, and decided that letters would be sent to the relevant institutions to complete the process of appointing principals for both colleges.
